Tom Forehand, Vice-President of the Historical Society Board and program chairman, has announced that Nick Luccketti will present findings of the recent Smith’s Fort excavations and discuss future plans for investigation of this important site. This presentation is free and open to the public, however donations will be graciously accepted. We look forward to seeing everyone to discover what the ground had to offer at one of the most well-known and beloved historic sites in Surry County.
